Coleman Milne covers the following mechanical and electrical listed parts and labour.
What is covered
This warranty covers specific factory fitted mechanical and electrical parts (including labour to fit them) as itemised below, of the covered vehicle against mechanical breakdown or wear and tear (unless specifically excluded). Mechanical breakdown is the failure of a component, causing a sudden stoppage of its function. Wear and tear is the gradual deterioration caused by the effects of age and/or mileage. Includes consequential damage of covered parts, clutches, exhausts and batteries.
Oil Seals
Crankshaft front seal, camshaft oil seal, auxiliary shaft oil seal, gearbox rear seal, driveshaft[s] seals, differential pinion seal and any oil seal or gasket where removal of the engine, gearbox or differential/drive unit is essential in order to effect repair.
Working materials
Oils, oil filter and anti-freeze are covered ONLY if it is essential to replace them because of the failure of a part, which is covered under this warranty.
Engine **
All internal moving parts including cylinder head gaskets.
Camshaft Timing Belts and Tensioners
Also includes damage to any other covered parts, providing the camshaft belt and tensioner have both been changed in line with the manufacturer service requirements.
Turbocharger and Wastegate
All internal component parts.
Gearbox and Transmission **
All internal moving parts of: Manual Gearbox, Automatic Gearbox, Semi-Automatic Gearbox, Transfer Gearbox, (but excluding Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
Drive Train **
Drive shafts, prop-shafts, centre bearings, constant velocity joints, universal joints and couplings.
Front, Centre and Rear Differential **
Crown wheel and pinion, and all other internal moving parts.
Braking System **
Master cylinder seals, wheel cylinder seals, calliper seals.
Cooling System
Water pump.
Electrical System **
Starter motor and alternator.
Casings
If any covered part suffers a breakdown and damages its casing then the casing will be covered.
No Work to be carried out without prior authorisation.
What is NOT covered.
Bodywork, body seals (including boot, sunroof, roof, doors etc.) fixing and fastenings: nuts/bolts/brackets/studs/clips and springs (other than suspension springs), glass, interior/exterior trim, paint, lamp units and wheels.
Any failure attributable to the effects of overheating is not regarded as a mechanical failure under the terms of this warranty.
