For Funeral Directors requiring an alternative vehicle to our class leading Mondeo, we present the Ford Galaxy Removal Ambulance, available in two guises.
The ‘Z’ fold, fully removable deck, enables room for the driver and one front passenger if the deck is in the folded out position. If the deck is folded back, driver and four passengers can be accommodated. The deck is securely fastened to the vehicle floor via quick release fittings. Removing the deck completely enables the rear row of two seats to become available so as to accommodate the driver and 6 passengers, a truly versatile vehicle.
If the vehicle is focused purely on removals, a permanently fixed one piece deck is available. Boasting a lower, more practical loading height for everyday removals with the same well thought out deck layout & options as it’s ‘Z’ fold counterpart. (The deck can be removed with minimal change to vehicle’s interior panels for future re-sale of standard vehicle)
Both decks have the capacity for carrying two normal sized stretchers, coffins or a combination of both safely.
Deep aluminium interior side protecting panels are employed on both types of deck to protect your vehicle’s interior, which have the option to be carpet or rubber covered. As standard, a heavy duty front rail and fixed + adjustable coffin stops make securing stretchers & coffins easy. Optional Stretcher cups and other versatile deck fixings are available to enhance your deck further.
Drawing on the same ethos as our class leading Mondeo, the Ford Galaxy with it’s elevated stance, easy passenger access & dignified presence makes a great alternative option to an already proven product.
