New Hearse for Hartley

Denis Hartley & Son, established funeral directors for Colne, have taken delivery of a new Norwood Classic Hearse. The stylish new vehicle is the latest addition to the Hartley fleet and this is their second vehicle from Coleman Milne.
The Family run funeral directors have over 50 years of experience in providing care and support for their community; Denis Hartley first learned the ropes as an undertaker in 1959 before founding his own business in 1972. Denis’s son Shaun joined his father in business and since his father’s passing in 2001 Shaun and his wife Susan have driven the business from strength to strength. Laura-Beth joined the family business in 2010 and became company director in 2016. Such longevity is testament to the professionalism and care they put into their work.
The high specification of the Norwood Classic model boasts LED coffin illumination lights and a glass roof which allows for natural light to flood the coffin area, while the stylish leather interior and air conditioning ensures driver comfort.
Denis Harley & Son have a peaceful premises which offers a reception area, modern chapel of rest and private family viewing room giving bereaved families a cosy and intimate atmosphere to pay their last respects and say farewell to their loved ones.
